Todd Wilson, Keynote Speaker
Author of Help! I'm Married to a Homeschooling Mom and The Official Book of Homeschooling Cartoons, is a dad, writer, conference speaker, and former pastor. Todd's humor and gut-honest realness have made him a favorite speaker at home school conventions across the country and a welcome guest on Focus on the Family.
His articles have appeared in various magazines, including Christian Parenting Today, Men of Integrity, and Stand Firm. Christianity Today also posts his weekly column (The Familyman Weekly) on their website.
Todd and his wife Debbie, along with their eight children, spend several months of the year traveling the country encouraging moms and dads. His humor, down-to-earth personality, and straight talk to men (and women) have become his trademark.
You can find more information about Mr. Wilson and his ministry at www.familymanweb.com.
Lorrie Flem, speaker
Lorrie Flem has been honored to be the happy rib of Randy for 21 years. They make their home in Maple Valley, Washington until they reach the mansion Jesus is preparing for them. They are the exceedingly proud parents of eight children, ages 20 to 5. She considers it a privilege to be a stay-at-home home schooling mom to their always precious and often precocious children.
Lorrie has always been prone to talk and as a result she has authored a number of books, is the publisher of www.teachmagazine.com. We put the "HOME in Homemaking and Homeschooling," and a monthly ezine, TEACH Talk. She speaks nationally at conferences and retreats. Lorrie is known for her humorous and gentle words of encouragement to other keepers of the home.
Workshops that Lorrie will be teaching include Welcome to the Zoo (multi-level homeschooling made easy). This session explores the ways we can work with the pre-schooler, elementary children, junior and senior highers with a baby on our hip and dinner on the stove! Learn with Lorrie to incorporate and encourage each child while maintaining your love of family and school. A question and answer time at the end is always fun! You can do all of this and love it!
